A Morning with the Grinch

A walk-thru event on the Oldham County History Center Campus

to collect toys for Highpoint Charities

Each year the Grinch visits the Oldham County History Center to spread Grinch cheer and help collect toys for children in our local community. For the donation of a new toy, children and families walk through the Oldham County History Center campus and stop at different stations for treats, crafts, and photo opportunities with characters from Who-ville, The Grinch, as well as Captain America, Elsa from Frozen, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Families will be walking thru the campus on Saturday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Oldham County History Center. Enter the walk-thru at the main entrance to the Oldham County History Center on Second Street, across from the courthouse square. Many of the activity stations are outdoors so participants should dress according to the weather.

Special thanks to the LaGrange City Police for helping with this event, and private donors and our volunteers to make this event possible! Last year over 500 toys were collected and donated to HighPoint for children in the local community.

Price of admission:  $3 per person or a new, unwrapped toy per family, that will go to Highpoint Charitable Services in LaGrange. Highpoint Charities is a local nonprofit that provides services to those in need.
